Women's Hoops Caps Trip With Win

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Benedictine University women's basketball team saw 12 different individuals score points in a 62-42 rout of host Colorado College to notch a 2-0 mark at the event.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine trailed just once in the game, falling behind 1-0 in the first minute of action
• Alanna Ferry converted a second chance basket moments later to hand Benedictine the lead for good
• Benedictine led 13-3 after the first and held a 33-14 edge at the break
• Benedictine led by as many as 23 points in the contest

STAT LEADERS
• Benedictine saw just three players appear in the game for 20 minutes or longer, using all 16 players on the roster
• Benedictine was dominant on the glass, holding a 49-23 edge and scoring 19 second chance points along with 44 in the paint
• The leading scorer did not reach double figures as Ferry and DeKayla Crayton each scored nine
