LISLE, Ill. - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team dropped a 13-0 decision to the preseason favorites of the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference on Sunday afternoon.
Concordia Wisconsin opened a 3-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the contest and did not look back, leading 8-0 at the half.
Hannah Smith made 10 saves in goal. Benedictine successfully completed 12 clears in the contest.
Becca Gullett posted two shots, grabbed four groundballs, recorded a draw control, and forced a turnover.
Kam Haifleigh led the way with five groundballs as Benedictine picked up 14 in the game.
Gabby Rowe added three pickups.
Benedictine (0-9, 0-2 MWLC) travels to Cornell College in Iowa on Friday afternoon for a 4:30 p.m. conference contest with the first year program.
