Volleyball Falls to Aurora on the Road

Benedictine University women's volleyball had their four-game win streak snapped on Tuesday night, falling to Aurora University in straight sets on the road.

THE DETAILS
•Benedictine saw themselves down 20-15 in the first set, but went on a 9-1 run to take a 24-21 lead – Aurora would not give up, tallying four straight kills to take the lead and eventually win the set 27-25
• The Eagles trailed 5-0 in set two before tying the it up at 13 – The Spartans would record 11 kills in the second set en route to a 25-21 win
•Aurora had nine aces in the third set and tallied 10 kills for the 25-19 win
 
THE STAT LEADERS
• Taylor Dunwell had nine kills while Alyssa O'Boyle had 10 digs and 13 assists
• Kristina Billie led all players with 14 digs and had five aces
• As a team the Eagles had 29 kills compared to Aurora's 39
• Defensively, BenU had 11 serve receive errors
