The Benedictine University women's volleyball team was swept by nationally ranked Elmhurst College on Friday night.

• Elmhurst scored the first two points of the first set and did not trail the entire opening set
• Benedictine pulled within a single point on several occasions but Elmhurst was able to respond
• Benedictine scored the first five points of the second set, prompting an Elmhurst timeout after a Taylor Dunwell kill
• Benedictine continued to lead at 16-11 following a service error
• An ace put Elmhurst ahead for the first time at 17-16 and the visitors built a three-point edge, hanging on to take the second
