FROM THE COACH
"Venita (Parsons) has been a rock for our team through three games and to see her come through in the clutch was great for our team," head coach Charlie Averkamp said. "She put in a lot of work this offseason and it is paying off. Alena Moro was dominant on the boards again and Bennita (Drain) and Sammie (McCarthy) were huge in the second half. It was a great weekend with two wins, but also great to get closer as a team."

STAT LEADERS
•
Benedictine held a 51-38 advantage on the glass
• Parsons led all scorers with 15 points and was selected as the MVP of the Tournament
• Moro finished with eight points and 14 rebounds
