• After falling behind 2-0, Benedictine ripped off 10 straight goals
• Tony DePinto notched the first goal of the game with 9:23 left in the opening quarter
• Matthew Johnson scored in the last minute of the first to make the score 8-2
• The run extended into the start of the second quarter
• The teams traded goals and Benedictine held a 12-5 lead at the break
• Beloit scored eight straight goals to tie the score in the fourth quarter
• Corbin Gett scored the game-winner and
Blake Keenan added insurance to finish off the win
FROM THE COACH"I was pleased with our play in the first half, but the second half left something to be desired," head coach
Guy Bourdon said. "We need to learn how to play a complete 60 minutes. Once we take that next step as a team, the product we put on the field should be that much better."
