Men's Volleyball Falls to Dominican

RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Benedictine University men's volleyball team fell 3-1 to conference foe Dominican University on Friday night.

THE DETAILS
• Tied at 15 in the first set, the Dominican offense caught fire, collecting 15 kills en route to a 25-17 win
• Benedictine recorded 13 kills and a .407 attack percentage in the second set to take a 14-9 lead and never looked back, winning 25-12
• In the third set,  the Eagles trailed 14-9 and could never regain the lead, falling 25-18
• With the score tied at 10, Dominican went on a 10-5 run that ended with a 25-18 fourth set victory

THE STATS
• Sterling Glover led the Eagles with 20 kills and six errors (.378)
• Zach Loeding collected 10 kills and four block assists while John Mathews had seven kills with two aces
• Markus Riemer tallied 40 assists and seven digs while Ian Thompson led the defense with 25 digs

The Benedictine men's volleyball team, now 14-8 overall, travels to IIT on Friday, March 25 for a 7:00 pm game.
