LISLE, Ill. - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team came out strong but fell to Illinois Tech on Senior Day.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine led just once in the contest in a low scoring affair in wet conditions
• Madison Horan evened the game with a goal on a free position attempt at the 18:44 mark of the first half
• Jasmine Moreno put Benedictine ahead 2-1 with 6:34 left in the half
• Illinois Tech quickly responded, scoring twice to take a 3-2 lead at halftime
• Becca Gullett netted a free position goal early in the second, but Illinois Tech scored three in a row to log the decision

STAT LEADERS
• Four different individuals scored for Benedictine
• Hannah Smith played the whole game in goal and registered six saves
• Illinois Tech held a 22-14 advantage in shots and a 19-13 edge in groundballs
• Becca Gullett gathered five groundballs while scooping three draw controls
• Prior to the contest Nikki Gullett, Samantha Link, Emily Bolton, and Lauryn Ligocki were all honored
