RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team is bound for the conference tournament for a second straight year after ending the season with a win at Concordia Chicago.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine did not trail in the game, building a 5-0 lead at the half
• Becca Gullett opened the scoring, finishing the fourth shot of a sequence with 26:24 remaining in the opening half
• Gullett scored again with eight minutes left on a pass from Taylor Adams to cap the string
• Samantha Link scored to open the second half as the lead grew to 6-0

STAT LEADERS
• Benedictine held a 36-21 advantage in shots
• Link, the single season leader in goals, tallied four in the contest
• Gullett finished with three goals and a pair of assists
• Gullett also added five groundballs and five draw controls with five caused turnovers
• Hannah Smith stopped 16 shots in goal

Benedictine (7-8, 5-4 MWLC) will be the fourth seed in the conference tournament and play at top-seeded Concordia Wisconsin on Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
