TACOMA, WA - The Benedictine University women's basketball team won a seventh straight game by upending nationally recognized Puget Sound in overtime in the opener of a trip to Washington.

Benedictine 82, Puget Sound 75 - Overtime
• Puget Sound led for most of the game but could not put Benedictine away
• Alena Moro scored the first points of the game, but a 9-1 run late in the first quarter put Benedictine behind by double digits at 21-11
• Four straight points brought Benedictine within 21-15 after the first quarter
