LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team opened the conference portion of the schedule by securing the first win of the year as
Corbin Gett set a single game record for goals.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine opened the game by scoring the first five goals
• Trevor Manzke scored the first goal at the 12:33 mark of the first
• David Blanco followed with back-to-back unassisted tallies
• Consecutive strikes from Gett made the score 5-0 before the halfway point of the first
• Benedictine led 8-1 after the opening quarter
• The second quarter saw Benedictine strike for nine markers, taking a 17-1 halftime edge
• Gett scored the final two goals of the quarter, tallying his eighth of the game with 50 to go on a feed from Manzke to set the record
• Benedictine used the second half to involve nearly the entire roster, scoring just three goals to account for the final
