• David Blanco opened the scoring for Benedictine less than three minutes into the game at the 12:27 mark
• Following a faceoff win,
Corbin Gett delivered a strike on a feed from
Kyle Wagner just over 30 seconds later to make the lead 2-0
• Kalamazoo scored for the first time to pull within 2-1 before a pair of goals from Gett made the score 4-0
• The goals were the first of nine in a row
• The first of the two finders from Gett with 8:19 left in first tied
