Kaitlyn Liccion, by bettering visiting Trine University on Saturday afternoon.

• Emma Redfern opened the scoring on a feed from
Jasmine Moreno at the 23:33 mark of the first half
• Trine responded with back-to-back goals to open a 2-1 lead
• A wild finish to the first half saw Benedictine notch three consecutive markers
• Madison Horan delivered on a feed from
Becca Gullett to tie the game with 3:04 remaining
• Horan struck again with 1:35 left to put Benedictine ahead for good
• Trine netted the final goal of the half to pull within 4-3 and evened the contest early in the second half
• Redfern broke the tie thanks to a helper from
Ries McCue with 26:26 left in the game
• Leading by just a goal midway through the second, Benedictine finished with three straight tallies to secure the win

• Hannah Smith stopped 10 shots in net
• Gullett scored twice, added two assists, picked up 12 groundballs, and caused six turnovers
