ELMHURST, IL - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team scored nine goals in the second half to move to 2-2 on the season with a road win at Elmhurst College.

THE DETAILS
• Sam Tikalsky opened the scoring less than two minutes into the game, converting a turnover into a goal on a pass from Ries McCue
• The goal marked the first of the season for Tikalsky
• Jasmine Moreno broke a 1-1 tie with a goal on a feed from Becca Gullett with 17:22 left in the opening half
• Emma Redfern followed with a goal moments later to make the score 3-1
• Benedictine did not trail in the game
• Leading 5-3 at halftime, McCue opened a stretch of six unanswered goals with a free position tally at the 26:42 mark of the second
