THE DETAILS
• Two goals less than a minute apart early in the game set the tone in the contest
• Madison Horan netted her ninth of the year at the 27:30 mark and
Jasmine Moreno followed with her seventh at the 26:37 spot
• Following a Cornell tally, goals from
Becca Gullett and
Lexie Orr padded the lead to 4-1 before the halfway point of the opening half
• Four straight goals pushed the lead to 8-2 and Benedictine led 9-3 at the half
• Emma Redfern tallied the first goal of the second half before Cornell collected back-to-back goals
• Moreno scored the first of eight straight to end the game
• Running clock was instituted with 14:22 remaining in the contest

• Benedictine held a 36-20 advantage in shots
• Benedictine notched a 22-13 edge in groundballs and completed 14-of-19 clears
• Gullett scored seven goals while notching two assists and adding four groundballs, six draw controls and five caused turnovers
