Benedictine University men's volleyball junior Erik Kerber tallied a career high nine kills in a 3-0 sweep of Olivet College on Friday night in the Dan and Ada Rice Center.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine took a 6-2 lead after four straight Kerber serves in the first set
• Olivet tied it up but the BenU offense came alive, tallying 14 kills and hitting .346 for the 25-21 win
• Set two saw both teams trade points early on
• A Sterling Glover ace gave BenU the lead and they never looked back, winning 25-20
• In the third set, the Eagles held Olivet to just seven kills and a -.067 hitting percentage
• Benedictine once again recorded 14 kills for the 25-18 win
• As a team, BenU tallied 40 kills, a .259 hitting percentage, 27 digs and eight blocks

STAT LEADERS
• Glover had a season high .450 hitting percentage with 10 kills and just one error
• Kerber had a career high nine kills, zero errors and three block assists
• Lewis Stein had four block assists and also tallied seven kills
• Markus Riemer collected nine digs and 35 assists
