Softball Wins Final Game in Florida

The Benedictine University softball team concluded their spring break Florida trip with a 3-0 win over Middlebury College.

• Holly Haberkorn put Benedictine on the board in the first inning with an RBI single, scoring Angie Malsack who was hit by a pitch earlier in the inning
• In the fourth inning, Haberkorn doubled to lead off
• Liz Jimenez went in to pinch run for Haberkorn and was driven in by Emily Moore
• Another run scored on the Middlebury attempted throw
• Both teams tallied five hits
