The Benedictine University men's volleyball team moved to 6-5 in the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League on Saturday afternoon with a sweep of Adrian College.

Benedictine 3, Adrian 0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-21)

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine took a commanding 20-10 lead in the first set after five straight Eric Krasich serves
• The Eagles held Adrian to just five kills and a -.034 hitting percentage while BenU recorded 16 kills and a .414 hitting percentage for the 25-13 win
• Benedictine took a 6-0 lead to start the second set with three Nick Malak aces
• The Eagles again held the Bulldogs to just five kills and a -.125 hitting percentage
• Two Dylan Shore aces put BenU up in the third set
• Adrian would go on a late 5-0 run but it wasn't enough as the Eagles would win 25-21

Benedictine men's volleyball, now 7-8 overall and 6-5 in MCVL action, travel to Ohio next weekend to take on Wittenberg on Friday, March 10 and Mount St. Joseph on Saturday, March 11.
