• Benedictine scored the game's first goal when
Corbin Gett jammed home a feed from
Will Reece III less than two minutes into the contest
• Carthage tied the game just over a minute later, opening a stretch of six consecutive goals
• The visitors took the lead for good with 8:22 to play in the first quarter and led 5-1 after one
• Kyle Wagner opened a string of three consecutive markers with an unassisted tally at the 12:03 mark of the second
• Wagner brought Benedictine within 6-4 with a goal with under six minutes to play, but Benedictine would score just twice the rest of the way, breaking a three-game win streak
