MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team was unable to overcome an early deficit in a road loss to MSOE.

THE DETAILS
• The first goal of the game did not come until almost the midway point of the first quarter when MSOE scored with 8:26 left
• Trevor Manzke tied the game with an unassisted goal at the 5:45 mark
• MSOE scored three consecutive goals to close the quarter including an immediate response following the faceoff of the Manzke tally
• Randy Patrick scored the lone goal of the second, pulling Benedictine within 4-2 at the 9:14 mark
• MSOE opened the second half strong, scoring three straight to open a 7-2 edge
• Benedictine never pulled closer than four the rest of the way
STAT LEADERS
• MSOE held a 32-28 advantage in shots and a 25-20 edge in groundballs
• Each team won nine faceoffs with 
Wesley Kassaros taking every draw for Benedictine and scooping five groundballs
• Sammie Sanko made seven saves in net to go with four groundballs
• Corbin Gett was the only player to score more than once, notching two goals in the second half
