The Benedictine University softball team did not allow an earned run in a sweep of non-conference opponent Kalamazoo College on Tuesday night at the Sports Complex.

Emily Moore
• In the second,
Kelli Holstine led off with a single and advanced on a
Selena Kweder sacrifice bunt

Kassee Johnson doubled to score a run and
Courtney Grasz added another run two batters later
•
Holly Haberkorn scored the final run of the inning to give BenU a 7-0 lead
• Kalamazoo tallied two unearned runs in the third
• Johnson and Haberkorn both homered in the fourth
• The Eagles ended the game in the bottom of the fifth, tallying one run off of one hit

• In the first inning Grasz and Haberkorn both doubled to give BenU a 2-0 lead
• After two scoreless innings the Eagles added a pair of runs from a
Shannon Fritsche homerun, her sixth of the season
• The Eagles secured the 6-0 win in the fifth after hits from Haberkorn,
Breanna Sobotka and Holstine
• Haberkorn had a perfect day behind the plate, going 6-6 with 3 runs and 4 RBI
