Softball NCAA Regional Information

The Benedictine University softball team is returning to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the sixth time in the past seven years. Benedictine won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference regular season and tournament titles and owns 33 wins, the fourth straight year with 30 or more. The team reached the Super Regional in last year's tournament. The Eagles are headed to La Crosse, Wis. to meet UW-Oshkosh on Friday. Benedictine bested UW-Oshkosh 4-2 in Florida earlier this season. UW-Oshkosh owns 30 wins and placed third in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics Conference. Other teams in the regional include the hosts and St. Norbert College.

The tournament is a double elimination format. The winner of the weekend advances to meet the winner of the UW-Whitewater Regional in a best-of-three Super Regional next weekend.

NOTES
It is graduation weekend at UW-La Crosse so hotel accommodations may be difficult to find in the immediate area. This guide has a list of area hotels on page 48. Other areas to consider that are farther away include Winona, Minn., Rochester, Minn., Sparta, Wis. and Tomah, Wis.

SUNDAY, MAY 14

TICKETING INFORMATION
Advance ticket sales will not be available. All tickets can be bought at the ticket window Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Here is the ticket information from UW-La Crosse.

An all-session pass will be available for $15 for adults that is good for the entire weekend. The same pass is $10 for children (2 & up), students, and seniors.

Single day tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students, seniors and children (age 2 & up).

PARKING INFORMATION
There is no parking surrounding the softball facility. Signs will be posted for fan parking in lots C2 and C11 on the visitor's guide. Shuttles will take fans to the facility every 10-15 minutes otherwise the distance is approximately 1/4 mile by foot.
