The Benedictine University women's volleyball team tallied their highest hitting percentage of the season in a sweep of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference opponent Marian University on the road on Friday night.

Benedictine 3, Marian 0 (25-17, 25-10, 25-19)

• Kristina Billie tallied four straight points in the first set to give Benedictine an 11-7 lead
• Billie added another four points later on to go up 23-14 as the Eagles cruised to a 25-17 win
• In the second set, Benedictine connected on four straight kills to go up 6-1
• Two Chelsi Blair aces gave BenU a 17-8 advantage and they never looked back, only allowing Marian two more points in the 25-10 victory
• Benedictine trailed early in the third set but two more Blair aces put them within one
• Molly Stock tallied back-to-back kills to give BenU their first lead of the set
• After two Claudia Schmidt aces, Benedictine cruised through the set and tallied 16 kills for the 25-19 win
•The Eagles tallied 40 kills for their highest hitting percentage of the season (.282)
