LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team set up a Monday battle of conference unbeatens by scoring 48 points in the second half of a home rout of MSOE.

Benedictine 74, MSOE 41
• Benedictine scored the first five points of the game and stormed to a 9-2 advantage on a layup from

• MSOE came back to tie the game at 9-9 with 4:02 left in the first quarter
• Benedictine could not make another basket until
Casey Williams converted on a layup with 31 seconds remaining in the quarter to make the score 11-9 after one
• The visitors tied the game two more times in the second quarter but Benedictine closed the half on a 7-2 run to take a 26-21 lead into the half following a basket from

• MSOE scored only eight points in the third quarter, six came on free throws
• A 12-3 run early in the third quarter put Benedictine ahead 38-26 following a jumper from
Georgia Alexakos
• Benedictine closed the third quarter on a 14-1 run to take a 52-29 edge into the fourth following a three from
Jenna Endres
• The bulk of the roster saw action in the fourth quarter as Benedictine led by as many as 35 points to win a third in a row
• All 18 players on the roster saw the floor with 14 scoring and 12 grabbing a rebound
• Benedictine shot 46.2 percent in the second half and 40.6 for the game while making nine three-pointers
• Benedictine held a 47-35 edge on the glass while limiting MSOE to just 26.9 percent shooting
• Endres was the only player to reach double figures for Benedictine, tallying 10
• Venita Parsons collected eight points with Alexakos scoring seven

Benedictine (10-2, 7-0 NACC) travels to Wisconsin Lutheran on Monday night. Wisconsin Lutheran is the only other conference unbeaten.
