• Benedictine trailed just once in the contest at 5-4 with 7:36 left in the first quarter
• Britney Pitzer put Benedictine ahead moments later with a jumper
• Tied at 8-8, Benedictine scored six straight to open a 14-8 lead and held a 19-13 edge after the first quarter after Ashley Brown on a three-point play
• Alex Fanning opened the second quarter with a layup to give Benedictine a 21-13 lead
• Dominican came back to tie the game at 21-21 with 7:02 to play in the half
• Benedictine closed the half on a 7-0 run to take a 32-23 lead into the break
• A three-point play from Casey Williams gave Benedictine a 40-27 edge with 7:37 remaining in the third
• A late layup from MaKayli Vann gave Benedictine a 47-33 lead
• The hosts pulled within seven points halfway through the fourth, but Benedictine pulled away for the win
• Benedictine held the lead for over 36 minutes of the contest

• Fanning started for the first time and led all scorers with 20 points, tacking on 10 rebounds for her third double-double
• Allison Michalski tacked on 16 points

• The defense held Dominican to just 22.2 percent shooting but held a 41-40 edge on the glass
