MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University men's basketball team saw an eight-game win streak end at Wisconsin Lutheran on Wednesday night.

Wisconsin Lutheran 85, Benedictine 77
• Brayden Olson knocked down an early three-pointer to give Benedictine a 5-4 edge, but the team played from behind for most of the contest
• The first half was played relatively tight with seven ties and four lead changes
• Wisconsin Lutheran held a 43-39 halftime lead
• Wisconsin Lutheran scored the first 12 points of the second half to open a 55-39 lead with 16:52 remaining in the contest
• Benedictine stormed back to take the lead
• Eric Grygo scored the first four points of a 6-0 run and later
Jens Soderholm drained a three to pull Benedictine within single digits at 59-50 with 13:22 left
• The three was part of an 11-0 run that brought Benedictine within 59-58 at the 10:32 mark on a layup from Olson
• Jaquan Phipps tied the game with a three-point play less than 30 seconds later and a Soderholm three-pointer enabled Benedictine to lead 64-61 at the 9:03 mark
• With the game even at 69-69, the hosts hit back-to-back threes to take the lead and did not trail again, hitting all eight free throw attempts down the stretch
• Benedictine made 11 three-pointers in the contest and shot 44.3 percent from the field
• Wisconsin Lutheran held a 33-32 edge on the glass and shot 50 percent, becoming just the third team wo shoot 50 percent or better against Benedictine this year
• Olson led four players in double figures with 26
• Soderholm tallied 21 off the bench with six rebounds while
Kenny Bogus scored 12
• Grygo contributed 10

Benedictine (16-8, 15-4 NACC) is now tied for the conference lead with the final game of the regular season ending on Saturday with a fourth road game in the final five at Edgewood. A victory would mean the top seed in the conference tournament and at least a share of a fourth straight conference title
