The #5 Benedictine University men's volleyball team tallied 41 kills during their 3-0 sweep of Lakeland University in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference action on Friday night in the Dan and Ada Rice Center.

• Benedictine got out to a strong lead in the first set, tallying 14 kills and hitting .308 en route to a 25-16 win
• In the second set, a Markus Riemer ace gave BenU a 4-3 lead
• Lakeland caught fire, tallying two straight kills to take a 9-5 advantage
• Back-to-back Elijah Medlock kills put BenU within one and a 3-0 run off of the hand of Nick Malak gave Benedictine the lead
• Despite tallying seven service aces, BenU won set two 25-22
• Another Riemer ace gave BenU a third set lead and a Zach Loeding and Adriel Rivas block gave BenU the momentum as they tallied 14 kills and beat Lakeland 25-15
• This is Benedictine's ninth straight win
• As a team, BenU tallied 41 kills for a .322 attack percentage, 37 assists, six aces, 15 service errors, 30 digs and six blocks
