• Joe Spahn scored the first goal of the game with 9:54 left in the first quarter following a save and clear
• Beloit scored the next two goals to lead for the only time in the contest
• Will Reece III tied the game moments after Beloit grabbed the lead, converting a feed from
Corbin Gett
• A penalty created a man-up situation following the goal and
Randy Patrick delivered a strike from
Nick Wood to hand Benedictine the lead for good
• The goal was part of a five-goal stretch that saw Benedictine open a 6-2 lead
• Beloit was able to close within 7-5 headed to the final 15 minutes
• The margin remained two goals early in the fourth but three different players scored to finish out the win
• Benedictine held a 31-24 edge in shots
• Gett finished with three goals and three assists in the win
• Patrick and Reece III both scored twice
• Mateo Salceda won 12 faceoffs and accumulated seven groundballs
• Daniel Lawler caused three turnovers and notched three groundballs
