• Illinois Tech dominated the first half and scored three goals in the first five minutes
• Madison Horan put Benedictine on the board, putting a pass from
Emily Vellender into the net with 22 minutes to play in the first
• Illinois Tech scored the next eight goals, leading 9-1 at the half and 11-1 early in the second
• The tempo of the second half slowed down
• Horan and Vellender scored the goals for Benedictine
• Emma Redfern finished with 10 saves in the loss
• Benedictine managed nine shots in the game
• Horan scored twice with Vellender notching a goal and an assist
• Jasmine Moreno caused three turnovers and picked up four groundballs

Benedictine (2-6, 1-2 MWLC) travels to Cornell next Saturday
