NAPERVILLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team suffered their first loss of the season Wednesday night at North Central.

• North Central set the tone immediately, scoring twice in just over a minute to gain the upper hand
• The hosts opened a 10-0 lead just before the halfway point of the opening 30 minutes
• Madison Horan scored the first Benedictine goal on a free position shot with 13:42 left in the first
• Victoria House followed suit less than a minute later
• North Central led 14-2 at the half
• Only two goals scored in the second half, both from North Central
• North Central held a 35-14 advantage in shots
• Emma Redfern, the MWLC Defensive Player of the Week, tallied 10 saves and added two groundballs
• Horan paced Benedictine with six shots while
Lexie Orr notched three groundballs and three draw controls
