Box Score MEQUON, WI - The Benedictine University baseball team opened play in the NACC Tournament with a loss to fourth-seeded Aurora.

• Aurora grabbed a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first
• The runs would be the only tally until the sixth inning as a pair of the top hurlers in the conference battled
• Aurora chased 
Ryan Miller from the game in the sixth, using a pair of extra-base hits to score twice and open a 3-0 advantage
• Benedictine was able to get on the board in the top of the seventh, bringing the tying run to the plate
• Sam Kerr notched a two-out double to deep center
• Tyler Woynerowski followed with a double, scoring Kerr
• Aurora responded with two in the bottom of the inning to open a 5-1 advantage
• D.J. Dillon singled and scored in the top of the eighth, but Aurora tacked on four runs in the bottom of the inning to put the game away
• Aurora's starter, the conference pitcher of the year, threw a complete game and allowed just six hits
• Aurora has beaten Benedictine in the conference tournament in three consecutive years
• Concordia Wisconsin plays host to the tournament every year
• Miller allowed three runs in 5.1 innings to suffer his second loss of the year, both against Aurora

Benedictine (23-17) plays in an elimination game on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. against the sixth-seeded hosts, Concordia Wisconsin.
