The Benedictine University women's volleyball team came from behind to defeat Lake Forest College in a five-set thriller on Friday night in the Dan and Ada Rice Center.

THE FINAL
Benedictine 3, Lake Forest 2 (25-22, 20-25, 24-26, 25-12, 19-17)

THE DETAILS
• The Eagles used a late 3-0 run in the first set to take the 25-22 win
• Benedictine trailed early in set two and could never recover, falling 25-20
• In set three, both teams traded points until Lake Forest used an ace to win the set, 26-24
• The Eagles went on a 5-0 run in set four to take the lead
• Benedictine recorded 14 kills and hit .389 for the 25-12 win to force a fifth set
• In set five, BenU took a 14-9 lead before allowing Lake Forest to go on a 5-0 run to tie it
• The teams traded points until the very end when a Taylor Dunwell kill and an LFC error secured the Eagles 19-17 victory
• The Eagles tallied 65 kills, 80 digs and a season high 15 blocks
• Molly Stock tallied a career high 14 kills in the match
