LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team limited visiting Dominican to just 23 points in the second half, rallying to secure a home win.

• Benedictine seemed poised to run away early scoring the first six points of the game and leading 8-2 just two minutes into the contest
• Dominican came all the way back to within two points before a 7-0 run opened with a layup from
Alex Fanning to give Benedictine a 19-10 lead
• The visitors countered with their own 7-0 run to pull within 19-17 after one

• Benedictine shot 40 percent in the contest and held a 47-40 edge on the glass while scoring 32 points in the paint
• Fanning finished with a career best 27 points, adding 17 rebounds and eight blocks to go with four assists
• Fanning was 8-for-11 from the floor and 11-of-17 from the line, where Benedictine made 18 attempts
• Michalski finished with 15 in the win, a third straight
