LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's volleyball team kicked off homecoming weekend with a loss to conference unbeaten Wisconsin Lutheran at home.

THE DETAILS
• Wisconsin Lutheran seized control of the first set early, grabbing an 8-3 edge
• Benedictine did not lead in the set, trailing 17-9
• Alyssa Mojica used a pair of aces to draw Benedictine within 22-20, but Wisconsin Lutheran notched the next three to win the set
• The second set looked similar with the visitors up 7-2

Molly Stock opened a run of nine straight with a kill
• Delaney Soto logged three aces in the run
• The third set saw Wisconsin Lutheran use a late run of six consecutive points to turn around a deficit after Benedictine had led for much of the third
• Consecutive errors pulled Benedictine within 17-16 in the fourth before the visitors rolled off four in a row and limited Benedictine to just two points the rest of the way
• Both teams struggled against the block and Benedictine hit under .100 on the night
