• Aurora took Benedictine out of rhythm for most of the matchup
• Benedictine, one of the top hitting teams in the conference, hit just .101 for the contest including a negative number in the second
• Aurora recorded four aces and six blocks
• Benedictine held a 10-9 edge in the first set before Aurora tallied four consecutive points and led the rest of the way
• Aurora added a stretch of eight consecutive points later in the set
• The visitors scored the first six points of the second and did not look back, leading 22-6 at one point
• An attack error to open the third handed Benedictine their lone lead at 1-0
