LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's volleyball team celebrated the senior class with a home sweep of Rockford on Friday night.

THE DETAILS
• Prior to the contest, Taylor Dunwell, Rebecca Pacewic and Delaney Soto were honored
• Benedictine led for most of the match and hit .258 with a .310 mark in the second
• Rockford hung around in the first and was within 18-17 before a kill from Hannah Griffith opened a stretch of four in a row that included an ace from Soto
• Consecutive kills from Yngride JeanPhillipe opened a run of eight straight in the second as Benedictine stormed to a 16-3 edge
• The visitors opened the scoring in the third before a Dunwell kill notched the first of three in a row
• Benedictine held a 14-5 edge before a Rockford run made it close but Benedictine scored the final four points of the set to grab the sweep
