LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team dropped a one-goal decision at home to visiting Aquinas College.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine got off to a hot start in the game, building a 4-1 lead in the first 10 minutes
• Kaylee Garcia and Emma Redfern scored less than a minute apart to get the game rolling less than three minutes into the contest
• Back-to-back tallies from Lexie Orr made the score 4-1 at the 21:34 mark of the first
• Redfern scored again to make the count 5-2 with 17:27 left in the first
• The visitors responded by uncorking six straight goals and led 8-6 at the half following a late goal from Victoria House
• Madison Horan tied the game with 10:25 remaining on a pass from Emily Vellender
• House tied the game again at 12-12 with just over six minutes to go but the game-winner came in the final four minutes

• Aquinas held a 38-25 edge in shots with 26 on goal
• House scored three times with Orr, Redfern and Horan notching two apiece
• Sam Tikalsky caused three turnovers while collecting four groundballs and grabbing four draw controls
