LISLE, IL - Visiting Linfield scored with just four seconds remaining to tally a non-conference win over the Benedictine University women's lacrosse team on Monday night.

• A close contest throughout, Benedictine got off to a strong start
• After falling behind 1-0, 
Kaylee Garcia and 
Victoria House scored just over a minute apart to hand Benedictine a 2-1 lead
• Garcia and 
Ries McCue answered a goal from Linfield to make the score 4-2
• Linfield used a pair of three-goal stretches to take the lead at the half, holding an 8-7 edge
• The lead extended early in the second half by scoring four of the first five goals to take a 12-8 advantage with 18:28 to go in the half
• McCue opened a strong of five straight goals with 17:48 left as Benedictine was able to take the lead for the first time since early in the contest
• Samantha Tikalsky struck with 8:41 remaining to finish the stretch and hand Benedictine a 13-12 lead
• Linfield tied the game with just 43 seconds to play and won the ensuing draw, marching down to score the winner with just four seconds left
