Eagles Split With Warriors

The Benedictine University softball team split a pair of Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference contests at home against Wisconsin Lutheran College.

THE DETAILS
• Wisconsin Lutheran's only run came in the first inning off of two hits
• The Benedictine bats couldn't come alive as they tallied just five hits

• After WLC tallied a run in the first, Benedictine tied it up in the bottom of the frame with an Emily Moore RBI single
• The Eagles added two more in the third with a Taylor Skraba two-run homer to center field
• Three more runs in the fourth put BenU on top 6-1
• Wisconsin Lutheran rallied back, picking up two runs in the fifth and one more in the sixth to come within two
• Roncone led off the sixth with a double and Ashley Fisher singled to give BenU two more runs and the 8-4 win
