McCOOK, IL - The weather forced an audible, pushing the Benedictine University men's lacrosse team to a new location indoors and after a delay the team came away with a fifth straight victory.

THE DETAILS
• Originally slated to start at 2:00 p.m. on campus, the game was moved indoors due to several inches of snow covering the field
• Jon Ackerson scored the first goal of the contest less than a minute into the game
• Thomas Tillett followed up with the second goal just seconds later
• After Fontbonne was able to get on the board,
Jacob Cunningham opened a string of four straight goals at the 10:25 mark of the opening quarter
• Benedictine led 9-3 after the first and ripped off six straight early in the second to open a 15-4 advantage
• Benedictine scored 13 goals in the second, finished with a
Mike Cislak man-up tally, and the score was 22-5 at the half
• The second half featured a running clock as Benedictine finished out the win
