ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team opened a two-game stint in Minnesota with a loss to conference leading Hamline University.

THE DETAILS
• Hamline opened the scoring just over a minute into the game and scored three times in just over five minutes
• The hosts grabbed a 6-0 lead less than 10 minutes into the first half
• Madison Horan broke up the run with the first Benedictine tally at the 21:11 mark
• After back-to-back goals from Hamline, Sam Tikalsky scored with a player off to account for the final Benedictine goal with 13:18 left in the first, making the score 8-2
• Hamline led 14-2 at the half before slowing down in the second, scoring four goals to finish a stretch of 10 in a row
