Medlock Named All-American

Junior Elijah Medlock has earned the men's volleyball program's first American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American honor.

This is the 16^th season for AVCA All-American honors. Nominees are voted on by the AVCA All-America committee which consists of 11 coaches throughout the country.

Medlock earned All-America Second Team honors after helping the men's volleyball team to their second straight Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference regular season title. The Eagles finished the year with a 22-3 overall record and a 13-2 conference mark.

The LaGrange Park, IL native led the team and was third in the league with 297 total kills and 3.34 kills/set. He also tallied 23 aces, 152 digs and 37 total blocks. He earned First Team All-NACC honors for the second year in a row.

"I am extremely proud of Elijah," said head coach Dan Buehring. "He has worked harder every year and it is great to see him get recognized for that hard work."

Medlock is one of four All-Americans selected from the NACC.
