LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's volleyball team rallied from down two sets to notch a home non-conference win over California Lutheran.

THE DETAILS
• California Lutheran downed Aurora in four sets earlier in the day and came out strong by opening a 5-1 lead in the first set
• Benedictine tallied four of the next five points and the remainder of the set was back and forth
• California Lutheran had four set points at the end of the first and Benedictine recorded three attempts as well to win the first but California Lutheran scored the final three points to win the nip and tuck affair
• Benedictine mounted a comeback in the second as well, down 11-6 and 12-7, the team cam all the way back to tie the score at 21 on a kill from
Nick Malak
• The visitors scored four of the final five to open a two-set advantage
• California Lutheran led for much of the third before back-to-back kills from
John Davis tied the set at 19-19
• Trailing 21-20, Davis recorded a kill and an ace while
Jacob Grygo added a kill to put Benedictine ahead 23-21
