• Three straight Lakeland errors broke a 3-3 tie in the opening set and Benedictine did not trail again, utilizing kills from
Nick Malak and
Chase Olson as part of a 4-0 run to lead 17-8
• Benedictine needed to come from behind in the second setbut notched five of the final six points to steal the second after trailing for most of the set
• Jacob Strande and
Jacob Grygo recorded kills during the stretch
• Benedictine pulled away early in the third as kills from
John Davis and
Elijah Medlock helped open a 14-7 lead
