THE DETAILS
• John Davis posted a career contest as Benedictine posted their best hitting contest since the season opener
• North Central used a stretch of seven-of-nine points in the opening set to streak to the decision
• Jacob Grygo banged out a kill in the second set with the score even to put Benedictine ahead at 16-15 and the team scored four of the next five to even the contest
• Davis slammed down a pair of kills as Benedictine opened the third set with a 4-1 lead
• Nick Malak and Grygo also added kills during the early run
• Benedictine would lead 15-8 and closed out the set on a kill from Malak
• North Central led 6-2 early in the fourth and held a 10-6 edge before three errors helped Benedictine tie the contest at 10-10
• Davis opened a second stretch of four in a row with a kill and 
Chase Olson added an ace as Benedictine jumped ahead 14-11 by tallying eight-of-nine points
• Davis punctuated the non-conference win with a kill
