THE DETAILS
• Most of the game was played with both defenses rising to the occasion
• Brogan Hall finally opened the scoring for Benedictine on a feed from
Thomas Tillett with 7:54 left in the opening quarter
• Anthony Leahy made the score 2-0 just a minute later
• Concordia Wisconsin responded by scoring the next eight goals, shutting out Benedictine in the second and third, opening an 8-2 lead early in the fourth
• Leahy finally broke the run with back-to-back goals, but Benedictine managed only one other goal
STAT LEADERS
• Leahy scored three goals on nine shots and picked up five groundballs
• Mateo Salceda won 10 faceoffs and snared five groundballs
• All three goalies saw time in the game with
Bobby Tangredi recording four saves
• Benedictine held a 43-36 edge in shots
