- The opening set featured a lot of back-and-forth
- Lakeland led 16-12 before
Kaitlyn Estopare opened a run of five straight with a kill to put Benedictine ahead 17-16
- Benedictine led 21-19 before Lakeland scored the final six points to win the opener
- Hannah Griffith opened the second set with a kill and
Brooke Huizenga followed with back-to-back put downs as Benedictine led 3-0
- Lakeland came back to tie the contest at 22-22 before Benedictine scored the final three to even the match
- Benedictine trailed for the first half of the third before Estopare opened a run of four straight to put Benedictine ahead at 15-14
- Yngride JeanPhillipe opened a string of seven points in eight to close out the victory
- Huizenga put down three straight to end the run
- Benedictine stormed to a 10-4 lead in the fourth
- Lakeland came back to lead 17-15
- A service error opened the door for Benedictine to notch seven in a row and grab control, ending the match on a kill from JeanPhillipe
- The win came on senior day as Benedictine honored six seniors before the contest
