FOND du LAC, WI - The Benedictine University women's volleyball team secured a slot in the NACC Tournament by scoring another five-set win on the road in Wisconsin, taking down Marian.

THE DETAILS
• The entire contest was back-and-forth
• Benedictine led 10-5, 14-8 and 15-9 before Marian tallied five straight
• Benedictine was leading 24-20 but Marian fended off four straight set points
• Carolina O'Connor put down consecutive kills to hand Benedictine the opening set
• The teams traded runs in the second set
• Benedictine led 19-16 but Marian tallied four in a row to take the lead
• Benedictine was able to score three consecutive points to jump ahead 25-24 but Marian notched three straight and ended the set with an ace
• Benedictine held a 7-3 advantage in the third but Marian surged to lead 20-19
• O'Connor helped Benedictine stay alive with a kill on set point for Marian and
Grace Knutsen and
Hannah Griffith combined on a block to win the third
• Marian led for the early portions of the fourth before O'Connor tied it at 13-13 with a kill
• Kaitlyn Estopare put down a kill to tie the contest again at 18-18
• Even at 23-23 Marian scored the final two to record the win
• Benedictine stormed out in the fifth to grab a 3-0 lead and pulled away to grab the win
