• Claire Gibler opened the game by hitting a three-pointer as Benedictine scored the first 11 points to set the tone for the game, leading the whole way
• Gibler scored seven of the points in her first appearance of the year with
Allison Michalski adding four
• Rockford came back, pulling within two points at 13-11 before an 11-0 run by Benedictine extended the lead to 24-11 on a pair of Michalski free throws
• The hosts hung around in a low-scoring second quarter but Benedictine led by 12 at halftime, 33-21
• Michalski scored six in a row and
Reggie Much added a basket as Benedictine opened an 18-point lead at 43-25 halfway through the third
• Rockford responded with 12 straight to conclude the third, pulling within 43-37
• Benedictine scored seven in a row in the fourth quarter and led by as many as 19 points in pulling away to grab the win

• Benedictine shot 33.3 percent in the game and held a 45-40 advantage on the glass
• Michalski netted 27 points in her first action of the year
