LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team put together one of their best efforts of the year in knocking visiting Elmhurst from the ranks of the unbeaten in the rain.

THE DETAILS
• The defense logged a first half shutout
• Nic Perkins opened the scoring with an unassisted tally just two minutes into the game
• Anthony Leahy set up 
Colin Domek late in the first with the second goal
• Mateo Salceda notched the only goal of the second as Benedictine held a 3-0 lead at the break
• Salceda, Domek and joe Spahn scored in the third as Benedictine led 6-0
• Elmhurst charged back with three straight goals to break the shutout, but Spahn, Leahy and 
Scott Ransom put the game away

• Benedictine held a 37-33 edge in shots, won 10 faceoffs and picked up 24 groundballs
• Evan Kilbane played the entire game in net, making 16 saves
• Six different individuals scored
• Salceda scooped seven groundballs and added 10 faceoff wins
